The Lydia Society

A Missionary Ventures Women’s Membership Community

For women who feel called, the Lydia Society provides a place where worship, prayer, and partnership lead to lasting Kingdom impact.

Worship. Prayer. Partnership. Impact.

When What You’ve Built Is Asking for More

You show up. You give. You participate.

Yet too often, the experience feels familiar:

  • Gatherings that meet regularly yet lack clear direction or lasting fruit
  • Investments of time and resources without visible Kingdom impact
  • Community-centered spaces that are meaningful, but not faith-centered or mobilizing
  • Opportunities that inspire in the moment, but don’t translate into sustained mission

You don’t question the heart behind it — you question the alignment.

You value prayer and discernment as much as strategy.
You are drawn to partnership, not recognition.
You believe success is not the destination, but a doorway.

And you want your worship, generosity, and leadership to move together, not separately.

The Lydia Society was created for women who are ready to see their faith, influence, and resources produce lasting fruit in the Kingdom.

Lydia’s Story Reminds Us That Calling Is Meant to Be Leveraged

Scripture tells us, “The Lord opened her heart to respond to Paul’s message” (Acts 16:14).

Lydia was already a woman of influence. When God stirred her heart, she did not withdraw from what she had built. She leveraged it. Her home became a foundation for the church in Philippi. Her resources strengthened the work God was already advancing.

The Lydia Society exists under Missionary Ventures to provide that same kind of alignment today. It is a place where women of influence steward what they have built in direct partnership with the mission of God.

With decades of experience supporting missionary initiatives around the world, Missionary Ventures provides the structure and accountability to ensure that the influence and resources of modern-day Lydias are strategically aligned with lasting Kingdom work, impacting women, families, and children.

Together, we steward what we have built to strengthen women and children in places where the gospel is already transforming lives.

A Call to Modern-Day Lydias

She was already established.

A businesswoman.

A steward of valuable resources.

A worshiper of God.

When God opened her heart, He did not ask her to abandon what she had built. He invited her to leverage it for Kingdom impact.

Today, there are women who recognize themselves in her story.

You may be one of them.

An entrepreneur, executive, or leader who has built something of value, carries real responsibility, and senses a deeper invitation to align influence with eternal impact.

You do not need more activity. You do not need another cause.

You sense that what you steward — your leadership, resources, and obedience — was entrusted to you for something more.

A modern-day Lydia is established and spiritually attentive.
She values prayer as much as strategy. She is drawn to partnership, not recognition.
She believes success is not the destination, but a doorway.

This is not ambition. It is stewardship awakening.
