Missionary Ventures International is pleased to announce Brad Staton as our next president beginning January 1, 2025. Bill Snell has led MVI for the last eight years, and as he moves toward retirement, Bill will remain connected with MVI serving as President Emeritus during 2025 and connecting with missionaries and partners around the world.
Brad has served as MVI’s Director of the Office of Advancement for the last five years and brings over 25 years of experience in philanthropy and pastoral leadership, having served churches in Augusta, Savannah, and Orlando. His extensive background includes managing foundations and charities, working with family foundations, and serving in advisory roles for many non-profits. Brad received his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the University of Georgia and Master of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary. He is also a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®) through The American College. Brad’s wife, Lindsey, is a high school journalism teacher and they have three children. Brad is deeply committed to the mission of MVI, believing that God has called all Christians to generosity and missions. He is passionate about sharing this message with the MVI family and beyond.
“I am confident that Brad will follow God’s lead in the future direction of MVI,” says Bill. “Please pray for all of us during this transition time, and especially Brad as he takes on the new role. I’m grateful to remain deeply connected with the ministry and available to assist Brad at his discretion during 2025.”
“I am so grateful to have learned under Bill for the last five years,” says Brad. “He’s been an amazing mentor to me. I believe God has used my whole story to prepare me for this role, but especially in the last 4-5 years serving alongside Bill. I look forward to building on the solid foundation that God has already built in MVI and seeking His direction for fresh ideas in an always changing global environment.”
As we transition to a new era under Brad’s leadership, we remain steadfast in our commitment to accelerating God’s work around the world. Together, we will continue to equip local believers, expand the Kingdom, and fulfill our God-given mission. Thank you for your unwavering support as we embark on this new chapter in MVI’s missional journey.
