Mike Blackhall joined Missionary Ventures in 2026 after spending a year in retirement, only to realize that God’s plan for his life was not retirement—but repurpose-ment. He has been married to Patti, the love of his life, for 25 years.

Mike brings a rich and diverse background in both career and ministry. He served 26 years as a member of the Christian Motorcyclists Association, including 12 years as an Area Representative in the state of Florida. His professional experience includes a career as a Flight Medic in the United States Army, as well as owning and operating an automotive dealership, an advertising agency, and a real estate management company that remains active today. For 15 years, Mike and Patti also owned and operated a highly successful furniture store in Central Florida.

They share a deep passion for children and young adults, and are actively involved with the Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America, helping raise funds to send disabled and critically ill children to a life-changing camp experience.

Mike currently serves as Chairman of the Board for E3 Family Solutions. Both he and Patti are deeply engaged in their church, serving in prayer ministry, missions leadership, and on the worship team—where Mike joyfully plays drums and percussion, saying, “I get to worship the Lord with this wonderful gift He’s given me.”

Together, they have led a well-attended Bible study for 15 years and continue to be involved in various community ministries and outreach efforts.

Mike first connected with Missionary Ventures in 2000 and has since served on short-term mission trips in 13 different countries. He also lived in Germany for five and a half years, touring throughout Europe with a German band, and still enjoys speaking German whenever he can.

In their free time, Mike and Patti love cross-country motorcycle riding, taking cruises, and exploring the roads less traveled.
