2026 Uruguay Trip
This September, Missionary Ventures is sending a team to Uruguay — and we want you to know why it matters.
45% of Uruguayans hold no religious beliefs Uruguay is the most secular country in the Americas, with one of the lowest concentrations of Christians of any nation in the region.
And yet God is moving there. A Peruvian missionary, Gustavo Huamani, and his family, left everything to serve in Uruguay with one vision: to go to the unreached, open churches in homes, and make disciples where almost none exist.
Our team will go to stand with them. We’ll encourage local churches and believers, help with outreach and evangelism, pray with people seeking hope, and experience firsthand what God is doing in one of the world’s most secular nations.
The trip includes:
- 5+ days of ministry in La Paloma & Rocha, Uruguay
- Visit to Montevideo and other historic, beautiful sites
- Team training to prepare you for the field
- Full trip support from the MV team’s office
- Most meals, housing, and airfare
- WHEN: Sept. 10-17, 2026
- WHERE: La Paloma & Rocha, Uruguay
- WHO: Anyone can go 7+ and older (with a parent/guardian)
- COST: $2350 per person
- WHY: To share the gospel and encourage believers working hard in a secular nation

The trip will be led by MV Director of Communications, Casey McCarty, who traveled to Uruguay in 2025 with CMA Team. Read more about why the gospel is needed in Uruguay here.
