Team Delivers Transportation, Relief, and Hope Across the Philippines
CMA trip to the Philippines supports MV missionaries, pastors, locals, and more
Across nine unforgettable days, 14 CMA members traveled across the Philippines, navigating crowded cities, coastal towns, steep mountain roads, and remote island communities to bring the love of Jesus where it was needed most.
The team’s first stop was Manila. It was only a short layover, but for many, it marked the beginning of something far greater. It was a moment to pray, to prepare their hearts, and to collectively say, “Lord, use us.”
Eight Motorcycles, Eight Ministries Strengthened
From Manila, God led the team south to Cabadbaran City in Mindanao. Under the leadership of Bishop Philip and Jemima Gonzalez of Agape Ministries, eight motorcycles were blessed and distributed. They are tools that will carry the Gospel into mountain villages, remote communities, and places many cannot reach on foot.
Eight motorcycles meant eight ministries strengthened and eight new pathways of hope created.
One Boat, Countless Lives Within Reach
The Philippines is made up of islands and mountains, and many communities are tucked away in places that are difficult to access. With transportation, pastors can now go where they couldn’t before or couldn’t go often enough.
"Seeing motorcycles and boats in person has given me an even deeper sense of purpose in my role. It reminded me that no matter how far we are from the recipients, what we do truly makes an impact. These tools strengthen pastors, churches, and ministries so they can be more effective in reaching the ends of the earth. It made the work real. Every email, every process, every detail contributes to lives being changed."

Serving the Most Remote
On Bucas Grande Island in Socorro, the team delivered another motorcycle, then journeyed farther into an isolated coastal community. There, they fed school children, prayed over families, and spent time with little ones hungry not only for food but for hope, comfort, and encouragement.
What used to be distant, hard-to-reach places are now a community where the Gospel arrives consistently bringing comfort, healing, and hope.
Unity, Generosity, and God Moving Powerfully
The journey continued into the Visayas region. Under the ministry of Pastor Rolly and Nimfa Vasey of Touching People Cebu, six motorcycles and one boat were distributed. Pastors from scattered across islands and mountain communities gathered together, an inspiring display of generosity and unity among churches, families, and volunteers.
Pastor Danny Macuha of Baptist Tribal Mission also traveled from the Luzon region to stand with the team, offering encouragement and support.
That evening, the community hosted a Jesus Film showing. Even as rain poured, no one left. Hands lifted, voices rose in worship, and hearts opened. When worship rises under the rain, many said, you can feel heaven drawing near. Afterward, families received goods and simple gifts that carried the message of God’s love.
Relief, Recovery, and New Life in Christ
The final stop was Barangay Talamban in Cebu City, where the team distributed relief goods to members of Bible Baptist Church affected by recent earthquakes and a typhoon. Several people received Jesus as their Savior that day—the greatest miracle of all.
