In many regions, students have little access to quality, biblically grounded education — teachers lack training, and leadership pipelines are thin.

The people behind the pathway
Experienced educators, coaches, and missionaries across many countries and cultures lead School Strengthening — and many MV missionaries teach full-time in Christ-centered schools.

Sarah Amador
School Strengthening Director
An educator since 2007, Sarah served in Christian education in Nicaragua for a decade before developing MV’s Pathways to School Strengthening (PaSS). She now coaches Christian school leaders in Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua.
Jackie Lai
Motivate Board Member
Originally from Malaysia and now based in New Zealand, Jackie is an Associate Professor of Education with experience across Asia, Europe, Australia, and North America. She specializes in partnership-based change and leadership development.
Jennifer Pilpe
Educational Consultant
With over 20 years in K–12 education, Jennifer serves in Quito, Ecuador, with her husband, Pablo, and founded Raíces Educational Solutions. Through PaSS, she mentors and coaches Christian school leaders across Latin America.
Obed Zuleta
MV Missionary
Born and raised in Guatemala, Obed joined the MV family with his wife, Cara, in 2013. Together, they raise up local leaders, strengthen the church, and equip the next generation of Christian educators.
Don & Mariaelena Steiner
Founders, Proyecto Alas & Wings of Eagles
Since founding Wings of Eagles in 1994, the Steiners have served in more than 20 countries. Their Proyecto Alas initiative has opened over 60 Christ-centered schools in remote communities across Mexico and Guatemala.
